The PNI MAB600 Swing Gate Automation Kit is a complete system designed for the automation of double-leaf gates, designed to support gate sheets with a maximum length of up to 3 m each and a combined weight of up to 600 kg. The system is equipped with two powerful motors, capable of ensuring controlled opening and closing, as well as a central electronic panel that coordinates the entire cycle of operations. Technical features include 230 V power supply with 24 V conversion for motors and a protection class suitable for outdoor use. This package is designed for residential or commercial properties where automated and reliable vehicle access control is desired.

Main functionalities of the system

The system offers remote opening and closing functions via the included remote controls, allowing users to control access without leaving the vehicle. The control can be customized to open both gates simultaneously or configured to open each gate individually, useful for pedestrian or vehicle crossings. In addition, automatic shutdown after a predetermined time interval is supported, configurable according to the owner's preferences. At the safety level, the system can detect obstacles during the movement cycle and stop operation to prevent damage or accidents.

Assembly and structural integration

The installation of the PNI MAB600 involves fixing the motors and drive mechanisms on the gate posts and connecting them to the central control panel, with cables compliant with safety standards. Installation requires precise dimensions and attachment angles to ensure optimal leaf opening and effortless operation on mechanical components. Electrically, the central control panel must be connected to the power supply and configured to communicate correctly with all accessories, including photocells. Technical expertise or the intervention of a specialist in automatic gate systems is recommended for implementation and on-site testing.

Stroke limiter function and mechanical safety

A key element of the MAB600 is the stroke limitation system, which determines the final open and close positions of each gate sheet. The stroke limiter ensures that the motors automatically stop when the gate touches the preset stroke ends, thus protecting mechanical and electrical components from overloading. This function also optimizes the repeatability of operations, reducing mechanical wear and increasing system life. It also contributes to the overall safety of users and vehicles during repeated access manoeuvres.

Included accessories and auxiliary equipment

The standard package includes all the accessories necessary for the commissioning of the system: two remote controls for remote control, two photocells for detecting objects or people in the gate area, a warning lamp for signaling the movement of the gate and a complete set of mounting accessories (brackets, screws, stop, etc.). The central control panel is supplied with components for subsequent integration with external access systems, and all electrical elements are designed to be compatible with current installation standards.

Remote gate control via the Tuya Smart app

By integrating a smart relay (PNI-RG120 or PNI-RG121), the PNI MAB600 automation system can also be managed via the Tuya Smart app. When this relay is connected in parallel with the control circuits of the gate control panel, it picks up the open/close signals.

In the Tuya Smart app, the user can initiate opening or closing operations remotely, without using physical remote controls, being able to control the gates from anywhere there is internet connectivity.

This functional extension facilitates the integration of gate automation into a smart home system and can also be used with other Tuya-compatible devices for advanced control and automation scenarios.
