The PNI Escort HP 8001L CB radio station has a switch on the front panel that allows the selection of the emergency channel (19), the normal operating mode (CH) and the activation of the key lock function (L) , a useful function in situations where you want to avoid touching accidental pressing of the station keys.

An innovation in the CB segment, the adjustable automatic squelch (ASQ), offers maximum comfort even for the most demanding users of car CB radio stations. If until now we were used to activating/deactivating the ASQ, now PNI brings its adjustment function, a function that allows the elimination of up to 100% of interference, background noise and jamming in the CB band.

The HP 8001L ASQ radio has a standard 6-pin microphone jack on the front panel. The microphone included in the package has buttons for channel selection, PTT button and ASQ activation button.

40 channels

The PNI HP 8001L radio station corresponds to the latest European CB standards. The station has a switch for changing the type of modulation (AM or FM) which will allow you to select the operating mode.

The PNI Escort HP 8001L radio station is compatible with the PNI BT-Dongle 8001 Bluetooth adapter, the PNI BT-MIKE 8500 Bluetooth microphone and the PNI BT-MIKE 7500 Bluetooth headset.

Dual channel radio communication via Bluetooth

PNI improves the comfort of CB radio communication through the new Mike 80 Wireless Microphone and Bluetooth Dongle product, specially designed for the PNI Escort HP 8001L and PNI Escort HP 9500 radio stations, but also for any other station with power on the 2-pin PNI-K type connection ( Kenwood) .

The microphone and dongle can communicate wirelessly with the CB radio station up to a maximum distance of 10m . You can power up the radio from the cigarette lighter socket in the trunk or from the back seats, and the driver will only broadcast and receive using the Mike 80 wireless microphone .

A special feature is the possibility of simultaneous dual channel connection with the radio station and the mobile phone. With the Mike 80 built-in speakerphone you can answer and talk on the phone just by pressing the PTT key on the microphone.

Fast connection without interference

Connecting the wireless microphone to other Bluetooth devices is simple and quick. Through the microphone speaker you will receive messages that will confirm closing and opening it, making or losing the Bluetooth connection.

The wireless microphone with integrated speaker includes a 3.7V 1200 mAh battery that allows you to use it for up to 8 hours. To power it, use the USB-Jack 3.5mm cable included in the package, connected to a USB port.

The Bluetooth dongle does not include a battery, it is powered directly from the 2-pin connector type PNI-K (Kenwood) of the radio station.

For discreet communication, the Mike 80 microphone can be replaced with the PNI BT-MIKE 7500 Bluetooth Headset with Microphone with PTT (not included) .
