The PNI Escort HP 8001L CB radio station has a switch on the front panel that allows you to select the emergency channel (19), the normal operating mode (CH) and activate the key lock function (L) , a useful function in situations where you want to avoid accidentally touching the station keys.

An innovation in the CB segment, the adjustable automatic squelch (ASQ), offers maximum comfort even for the most demanding users of car CB radio stations. If until now we were used to activating/deactivating the ASQ, now PNI brings its adjustment function, a function that allows the elimination of up to 100% of interference, background noise and jamming in the CB band.

6-pin microphone

The HP 8001L ASQ radio has a standard 6-pin microphone jack on the front panel. The included microphone has channel selection buttons, a PTT button, and an ASQ activation button.

40 channels

The PNI HP 8001L radio station complies with the latest European CB standards. The station has a switch for changing the modulation type (AM or FM) which will allow you to select the operating mode.

Headphone jack with microphone

The PNI HP 8001L radio station has jacks on the front panel for connecting a pair of headphones with microphone, included in the package.

Compatible with PNI Bluetooth accessories

The PNI Escort HP 8001L radio station is compatible with the PNI BT-Dongle 8001 Bluetooth adapter, the PNI BT-MIKE 8500 Bluetooth microphone and the PNI BT-MIKE 7500 Bluetooth headset.

Dual channel radio communication via Bluetooth

PNI improves the comfort of CB radio communication through the new product Wireless Microphone and Bluetooth Dongle Mike 80 specially designed for the PNI Escort HP 8001L and PNI Escort HP 9500 radio stations, but also for any other station with power supply on the 2-pin PNI-K (Kenwood) connection.

The microphone and dongle can communicate wirelessly with the CB radio station up to a maximum distance of 10 m . You can power the radio station from the cigarette lighter socket in the trunk or from the rear seats, and the driver will transmit and receive only using the Mike 80 wireless microphone .

A special feature is the possibility of simultaneous dual channel connection with the radio station and a mobile phone. With the built-in microphone with speaker Mike 80 you can answer and talk on the phone just by pressing the PTT button on the microphone.

Fast connection without interference

Connecting the wireless microphone to other Bluetooth devices is quick and easy. You will receive messages through the microphone speaker confirming the closing and opening of the microphone, the establishment or loss of the Bluetooth connection.

The wireless microphone with integrated speaker includes a 3.7V 1200 mAh battery that allows you to use it for up to 8 hours. To power it, use the USB-Jack 3.5mm cable included in the package, connected to a USB port.

The Bluetooth dongle does not include a battery, it is powered directly from the 2-pin PNI-K (Kenwood) connector of the radio station.

For discreet communication, the Mike 80 microphone can be replaced with the PNI BT-MIKE 7500 Bluetooth Headset with Microphone with PTT (not included) .
