Escort HP 6500 is the new ultra compact radio station from PNI. Measuring just 110 X 120 X 28 mm, the station can fit into even the smallest of spaces.

Easy to install : just plug it into the cigarette lighter socket and the outdoor antenna mounted on the car dome.

The PNI Escort HP 6500 CB radio has been designed with simplicity in mind so that anyone can use it with ease. The high-quality electret condenser encapsulated in the microphone provides clear and powerful sound.

Multi-standard and multi-band CB station, use in the UK and anywhere in Europe, AM/FM modulation

By setting the rate and modulation, you can use the station in the UK and most European Union countries.

The PNI Escort HP 6500 is equipped with the main European bands ( EU, CE, UK, PL, I, I2, dE, In ) and with AM/FM operation.

Note: before changing the modulation, check the selected norm. If the selected standard does not support AM modulation (such as CE, UK and dE 41CH-80CH standards), pressing the A/F key on the station will have no effect.

Dual Squelch, SQ and ASQ. RF Gain function

The PNI Escort HP 6500 is enhanced with a 9-level configurable Automatic Digital Squelch and 28-level configurable Manual Squelch . The RF Gain function (for controlling the radio reception gain) is also configurable to 9 levels.

Functions in brief : 4W emission power, 12V power supply, 40 channels, AM/FM modulation, emergency channels 9-19, RJ11 connector for microphone, additional jack for external speaker.

PNI VX6500, compatible microphone with VOX function and ANC filter

The VOX function allows the CB user to automatically transmit without pressing the PTT (Push-to-Talk) key. The broadcast is activated when the sound (voice) exceeds a certain level.

To avoid accidental emission, the PNI VX6500 microphone has two VOX emission control functions:

- VOX sensitivity adjustment function . 4 levels of sensitivity are available. We recommend setting the microphone to sensitivity level 1 (the least sensitive) to avoid unintentionally activating the emission in background sounds or secondary conversations.

- the emission delay adjustment function (VOX delay) . This function sets the period between the moment you started talking and the moment when the broadcast is activated. 4 levels are available. The shortest time is on level 1.

The PNI VX6500 microphone can be purchased separately.

Dual channel radio communication via Bluetooth

PNI improves the comfort of CB radio communication through the new Mike 65 Wireless Microphone and Bluetooth Dongle product specially designed for PNI Escort HP 6500, PNI Escort HP 6550 and PNI Escort HP 7120 radio stations, but also for any other station with power on the RJ11 connection.

The microphone and dongle can communicate wirelessly with the CB radio station up to a maximum distance of 10m . You can power the radio from the cigarette lighter socket in the trunk or from the back seats, and the driver will transmit and receive only using the Mike 65 wireless microphone .

A special feature is the possibility of simultaneous dual channel connection with the radio station and the mobile phone. With the Mike 65 built-in speakerphone you can answer and talk on the phone just by pressing the PTT key on the microphone.

Fast connection without interference

Connecting the wireless microphone to other Bluetooth devices is simple and quick. Through the microphone speaker you will receive messages that will confirm closing and opening it, making or losing the Bluetooth connection.

The wireless microphone with integrated speaker includes a 3.7V 1200 mAh battery that allows you to use it for up to 8 hours. To power it, use the USB-Jack 3.5mm cable included in the package, connected to a USB port.

The Bluetooth dongle does not include a battery, it is powered directly from the RJ11 connector of the radio station.

For discreet communication, the Mike 65 microphone can be replaced with the PNI BT-MIKE 7500 Bluetooth Headset with PTT Microphone (not included) .
