Battery and charger includedThe 2600mAh 7.4V Li-Ion battery can be easily charged using the 230V-9V charger included in the package. Just plug the charger jack on the back of the battery and the adapter into a 230V outlet. During charging, the LED will be red. When the battery is fully charged, the LED on the adapter will turn green. The battery indicator on the station display warns you in advance when you need to charge the battery. |

For a longer communication distance and to power the station to the car's battery, attach the power adapter. Compatible only with the PNI HP 72 station, it has two connectors: the cigarette lighter plug for powering the car's battery and the SO239 plug for connecting the station to an external antenna. |
UsageRemove the TNC antenna and battery pack from the station. Plug the adapter's SO239 jack into the PL259 jack of the antenna mounted on the car's dome. Plug the adapter's cigarette lighter plug into the dedicated slot on the dashboard of your car. You can now use the HP 72 PNI station as a mobile station. |
