The PNI RX-TX KL203P CB radio amplifier is medium-sized, with a compact and solid construction, ideal for use especially due to the preamplifier required in case of weaker signals.

It measures only 120 x 110 x 40 mm and weighs 478 grams.

For easy accessibility, the amplifier comes with AM/SSB, TX/RX, and ON/OFF switches located on the front panel; it also comes with built-in reverse polarity protection for increased safety.

Technical specifications

It is powered at 12-14V and can communicate within the 28-29.7 MHz frequency range (AM-FM-SSB bands) with a power of up to 100W. The antenna used in conjunction with this amplifier requires an input SWR between 1.1 and 1.5.

The PNI RX-TX KL203P CB radio amplifier is designed with a radiator type design to dissipate heat easily and quickly.

Multi-standard and multi-band CB station, for use in the UK and anywhere in Europe, AM/FM modulation

By setting the standard and modulation, you can use the station in the UK and most European Union countries.

The PNI Escort HP 6500 is equipped with the main European bands (EU, CE, UK, PL, I, I2, dE, In) and AM/FM operation.

Note: Before changing the modulation, check the selected standard. If the selected standard does not support AM modulation (such as CE, UK, and dE 41CH-80CH standards), pressing the A/F key on the station will have no effect.

Dual squelch, SQ and ASQ. RF Gain function

The PNI Escort HP 6500 is enhanced with a 9-level configurable automatic digital squelch and a 28-level configurable manual squelch. The RF Gain function (for controlling radio amplification during reception) is also configurable in 9 levels.

PNI VX6500, microphone compatible with VOX function and ANC filter

The VOX function allows the CB user to transmit automatically without pressing the PTT (Push-to-Talk) button. Transmission is activated when the sound (voice) exceeds a certain level.

To avoid accidental transmission, the PNI VX6500 microphone has two VOX transmission adjustment functions:

- VOX sensitivity adjustment function. There are 4 sensitivity levels available. We recommend setting the microphone to sensitivity level 1 (least sensitive) to avoid unintentional activation of transmission by background noise or side conversations.

- VOX delay adjustment function. This function sets the period between when you start speaking and when transmission is activated. There are 4 levels available. The shortest time is at level 1.

The PNI VX6500 microphone can be purchased separately.

PL/PL coaxial cable

The PL/PL adapter coaxial cable can be used in various CB-related applications and more, such as connecting a radio station to a measuring device (SWR power meter) or extending an antenna cable.
