	Key lock switch The PNI Escort HP 8001L CB radio station has a switch on the front panel that allows you to select the emergency channel (19), the normal operating mode (CH) and activate the key lock function (L) , a useful function in situations where you want to avoid accidentally touching the station keys.
Adjustable ASQ An innovation in the CB segment, the adjustable automatic squelch (ASQ), offers maximum comfort even for the most demanding users of car CB radio stations. If until now we were used to activating/deactivating the ASQ, now PNI brings its adjustment function, a function that allows the elimination of up to 100% of interference, background noise and jamming in the CB band.
	6-pin microphone The HP 8001L ASQ radio has a standard 6-pin microphone jack on the front panel. The included microphone has channel selection buttons, a PTT button, and an ASQ activation button.
40 channels The PNI HP 8001L radio station complies with the latest European CB standards. The station has a switch for changing the modulation type (AM or FM) which will allow you to select the operating mode.
	Headphone jack with microphone The PNI HP 8001L radio station has jacks on the front panel for connecting a pair of headphones with microphone, included in the package.
Communication distance The communication distance is another decisive factor in the purchase and use of a CB antenna. Thus, the communication distance of maximum 12 km is achieved in ideal working conditions: calibrated antenna, open field without obstacles, the station with the maximum legally allowed power of 4W and with a standard reception. Any obstacle such as: hills, mountains, buildings, walls can lead to the reduction of this distance.
	Antenna length The length of the antenna is a very important factor that can influence the communication distance. Thus, the longer the antenna, the greater the range. The PNI ML100 antenna has a length of 110 cm (magnetic base included).
Magnetic base The 120/PL magnetic base in the package is provided with a 4 m cable, sufficient for placing the antenna on the dome, has a diameter of 125 mm and a strong magnet that gives the antenna stability even at high speeds.
