Key lock switch

The PNI Escort HP 8001L CB radio station has a switch on the front panel that allows you to select the emergency channel (19), the normal operating mode (CH) and activate the key lock function (L) , a useful function in situations where you want to avoid accidentally touching the station keys.

If until now we were used to activating/deactivating the ASQ, now PNI brings its adjustment function, a function that allows the elimination of up to 100% of interference, background noise and jamming in the CB band.

6-pin microphone

The HP 8001L ASQ radio has a standard 6-pin microphone jack on the front panel. The included microphone has channel selection buttons, a PTT button, and an ASQ activation button.

40 channels

The PNI HP 8001L radio station complies with the latest European CB standards. The station has a switch for changing the modulation type (AM or FM) which will allow you to select the operating mode.

Headphone jack with microphone

The PNI HP 8001L radio station has jacks on the front panel for connecting a pair of headphones with microphone, included in the package.

Compatible with PNI Bluetooth accessories

The PNI Escort HP 8001L radio station is compatible with the PNI BT-Dongle 8001 Bluetooth adapter, the PNI BT-MIKE 8500 Bluetooth microphone and the PNI BT-MIKE 7500 Bluetooth headset.

Echo and Roger Beep Mode

The PNI ECH01 echo and roger beep module was designed to work with any CB and VHF/UHF band radio station as an additional module.

The module has the following main functions:
• Echo : Generating the echo effect of the signal captured by the radio station's microphone and inserting it into the modulation stage;
• Roger beep : Generate a personalized signal (via MP3 audio file) upon completion of the broadcast and maintain it.

Custom Roger Beep effect

Connect the module to a computer and copy the customized audio file (MP3 or WAV, maximum duration 1.5 seconds) as instructed in the manual.

As a result, at the end of each transmission, you will also transmit the personalized audio signal that will be received by other CB users as an end-of-transmission warning.

The PNI ECH01 echo and roger beep module is compatible with any CB or VHF/UHF radio station regardless of brand.

Add these two new features to your station and you will make a difference: your received voice will be distinguished from the others by the echo effect, and the end of your broadcast will be marked by an original audio signal.

Connecting to a computer and copying custom sound

To write another sound (beep of maximum 1.5 seconds) edited in MP3 or WAV format, you must connect the PNI ECH01 module via a micro USB cable to the laptop (computer) and activate the power switch.

In a few seconds the laptop will find the xx MB memory, then by normal copying transfer the file to the PNI ECH01 module memory.

Do not forget to switch the PNI ECH01 module switch to the initial working position.
