Multi-standard CB station

The PNI Escort HP 92 is a multi-standard portable CB radio station, which means it can operate on multiple frequency bands used in different countries in Europe.
The station has 7 norms (EU, CE, PL, I2, DE, IN) and comes by default set to the EU 4W AM/FM norm.

NRC (Noise Reduction Circuit) function

The PNI Escort HP 92 has a noise reduction circuit (NRC) that helps improve the quality of the received sound. Press the NRC button on the station and you will immediately notice the difference. Together with the adjustable ASQ and SQ functions (5 and 25 levels respectively) you will achieve exceptional reception quality.

The PNI Escort HP 92 is the first portable station in the world with NRC function. The function is programmable through free software and the programming cable code: PNI-PSR2030.

Other functions

The station also has a FUNC button to quickly customize important functions such as key sound, VOX and Roger Beep levels, and a Monitor function, which allows you to listen to the current channel without transmitting.

In addition, the PNI Escort HP 92 has a power selection function that allows you to choose between low (1.5 W) and high (4 W) emission power and a key lock function that prevents accidental button presses.

Mobile or portable CB station

The PNI Escort HP 92 can be used both as a mobile station by installing the cigarette lighter plug adapter for 12V or 24V car power and the external antenna connector, but also as a portable station by connecting the 240 mm BNC antenna and the 1800mAh Li-Ion battery.

We recommend using it together with an external CB antenna for long range.

We also do not recommend using it with the small antenna inside the car, as the radio waves are shielded by the metal of the car.

WARNINGS:

1. Do not use the DC adapter together with the BNC antenna.

2. If the station beeps, it means the battery is low. Turn off the station for a few minutes and connect it to 12V to charge the battery.

Performance of the PNI ML70 CB antenna

The performance of the product is closely related to the technical characteristics of the antenna under ideal conditions of installation and use: SWR <= 1.2, maximum applied power 200 W, impedance 50 Ohms, stainless steel, etc.

Communication distance

The communication distance is another decisive factor in the purchase and use of a CB antenna. Thus, the communication distance of maximum 9 km is achieved in ideal working conditions: calibrated antenna, open field without obstacles, the station with the maximum legally allowed power of 4W and with a standard reception. Any obstacle such as: hills, mountains, buildings, walls can lead to the reduction of this distance.

Antenna length

The length of the antenna is a very important factor that can influence the communication distance. Thus, the longer the antenna, the greater the range. The PNI ML70 antenna has a length of 70 cm (magnetic base included).

Magnetic base

The PNI 145/PL magnetic base in the package is equipped with a 4 m cable, sufficient for placing the antenna on the dome, has a diameter of 145 mm and a strong magnet that gives the antenna stability even at high speeds.

Complete package

This kit is ready to install and includes: antenna, magnetic base with cable and PL259 plug, Allen key for calibration. All you have to do is mount the antenna on the magnetic base, connect it to a CB radio station and calibrate it to use it at maximum performance.
