The PNI IP894 product is an outdoor surveillance camera with 4G GSM connectivity, designed for locations without access to a Wi-Fi network. It is equipped with two 2 MP lenses each, allowing wide coverage and clear details.

The IP894 model features two 2 MP CMOS sensors (1920 × 1080 resolution) and a viewing angle of approximately 90°, plus PTZ function with 355° horizontal and 90° vertical rotation. Night vision is ensured by eight IR and white light LEDs with a range of up to 40 meters. The housing has an IP65 protection rating, making it suitable for outdoor use in various conditions.

Power and connectivity

The camera operates autonomously thanks to the internal 18650 block battery with a capacity of 8,000 mAh and the 5.5 W solar panel, elements that allow installation in locations without electricity. 4G connectivity is achieved through a nano-SIM slot, so the camera can connect to the Internet via the GSM network, eliminating the need for a WiFi router.

Installation and configuration

For configuration, insert a nano-SIM card with active mobile data and disabled PIN, then turn on the camera and add it to the "CamHi Pro" or "HiP2P" application by scanning the QR code. Physical installation involves fixing it to a wall or other surface, orienting the solar panel towards the sun and checking the GSM signal quality (>60%) before use.

Usage and maintenance functionalities

The camera allows real-time monitoring, two-way communication (microphone + speaker), motion and person detection, push notifications and local recording on micro-SD card (maximum capacity 128 GB). For maintenance purposes, the user must ensure that the battery is charged, the solar panel is not obstructed and the mobile application is updated for optimal security.
