Viewing digital terrestrial TV channels in DVB-T2 system

The DVB-T2 PNI TV801 antenna receives the TV channels broadcast free of charge by the national television such as: TVR HD, TVR 1, TVR 2 TVR Timisoara etc. Currently, 12 TV channels can be received.
The presence and quality of the received signal depends on the distance from the terrestrial transmitting relay. The distance of more than 3-5 km or the presence of obstacles such as buildings, landforms can affect the received signal (see the map on the www.radiocom.ro).

The coverage area with DVB-T2 signal has been expanded to about 62% of the population

The National Society of Radiocommunications S.A. (RADIOCOM) has extended the coverage area with digital terrestrial signal to approx. 62% of the population and 58% of the territory of Romania.

Map of digital terrestrial TV signal in Romania Radiocom has updated the DVB-T2 signal coverage map for November 2016. According to this map, the DVB-T2 transitional project already has 63 transmitters. The estimated service area provides a signal for about 90% of the population and for about 84% in the territory.

HDTV / DVB-T Tuner set-top box

If you have a TV without a built-in DVB-T2 tuner, you can use this antenna in conjunction with the PNI TV901 Digital Tuner. In the case of a TV with a tuner, connect the PNI TV801 antenna directly to it via the included coaxial cable.
