How to connect the PNI C130 rectifier to the battery ATTENTION: Connecting the PNI C130 charger-rectifier to the battery is done differently if the battery is mounted on the car or not . 1. Make sure the AC adapter is not connected to an AC power source. 2. a. For batteries located in the vehicle: • Connect the red (+) clamp of the rectifier to the red (+) terminal of the battery. • Connect the black (-) clamp of the rectifier to a bolt on the engine block , away from the battery and fuel lines. 2. b. For batteries located outside the vehicle • Connect the red (+) clamp of the rectifier to the red (+) terminal of the battery. • Connect the black (-) clamp of the rectifier to the black (-) terminal of the battery. Note: If you have reversed the polarity, the LED on the rectifier will light up. 3. Connect the AC adapter to an AC power source and turn on the rectifier. 4. After charging the battery, disconnect the rectifier from the power source. Next, disconnect the rectifier from the engine block and then from the battery.
