The PNI B5500 was specially created to help you monitor your child. It benefits from a multitude of useful functions for the safest monitoring of your child. The maximum coverage range is 100 m in an open field. | |
VOX function | |
| If the baby unit does not detect any sound, it will stop transmitting to the parent unit. The parent unit is in VOX mode (standby mode). When the transmitter detects sound again, it will transmit to the receiver unit, turning it back on. |
Day/night mode | |
The PNI B5500 baby monitor is equipped with a special battery saving function, usually recommended at night, which will trigger the baby unit's microphone only when a sound is detected, otherwise it will not emit any signal. To use this function, activate night mode. | |
Two-way communication | |
| Both units of the B5000 monitor have a built-in microphone, allowing two-way communication between the child and the parent. The units can be powered by 3 AAA 1.5V batteries or using the USB cables in the package. |
Out of range alert | |
Because it is important to know if the baby monitor units are functional, we have 2 important functions: Visual and audible alert when leaving the coverage range of the units, and low battery alert. | |
