The display is generous, relative to the size of the station, it is illuminated and displays the channel, the emission / reception level, the radio frequency, the working band along with a multitude of other active functions of the President RANDY III portable CB radio station product.

Equipped for use in cars

Now you can take advantage of the multiple advantages of the most powerful portable CB radio station from President in your car. The station comes with a dedicated adapter with a cigarette lighter plug and radio antenna plug and fits in the palm of your hand (similar to a walkie talkie).

The station can be used with one hand without any problem. Besides these, the reduced dimensions allow you to place it either in the dedicated support in the package, or in the armrest, or in the storage spaces on board any car.

Equipped for use in the field or parking lot

A rarity among CB radio stations are those that can be used outdoors. In general, CB radio stations can only be used in cars with the antenna on the dome.

Unlike most, the Randy III portable radio station comes with a battery and a threaded antenna for use in open fields, parking lots or other areas near traffic areas.

In this "Outdoor" mode, the station allows the same communication in the CB band, the communication band of car drivers.

Multi-color screen

The station comes with an illuminated screen in 7 interchangeable colors.

Thus, by accessing the menu, you have access to the 7 colors and you can choose the one you want or the one that best matches the environment of your car.

Multiple functions

Although it is a small station, it comes with a multitude of functions: adjustable ASC, channel scanning, Dual watch, keyboard lock, screen lighting, ANL, Hi-Cut, EMG, high/low power (4W/1W), CTCSS, DCS etc.

Multi Band

For those who use other communication bands, used in other European countries, the station is provided with the possibility of changing the working norm in correspondence with each country separately.

Adjustable power

The High/Low adjustable emission power is useful both in certain EU countries where it is regulated by law differently from Romania, as well as when the station is used in the open field to save battery.

The performance of the product is closely related to the technical characteristics of the antenna in ideal conditions of installation and use: SWR <= 1.2, maximum applied power 200 W, impedance 50 Ohms, stainless steel, etc.

Communication distance

The communication distance is another decisive factor in the purchase and use of a CB antenna. Thus, the maximum communication distance of 9 km is achieved in ideal working conditions: calibrated antenna, open field without obstacles, the station with the legally permitted maximum power of 4W and with a standard reception. Any obstacle such as: hills, mountains, buildings, walls can reduce this distance.

Antenna length

The length of the antenna is a very important factor that can influence the communication distance. Thus, the longer the antenna, the greater the range of action. The PNI ML70 antenna is 70 cm long (magnetic base included).

Magnetic base

The PNI 145/PL magnetic base in the package is provided with a 4 m cable, sufficient for placing the antenna on the dome, it has a diameter of 145 mm and a strong magnet that gives the antenna stability even at high speeds.

Full package

This kit is ready for assembly with: antenna, magnetic base with cable and plug PL259, Allen key for calibration. All you have to do is mount the antenna on the magnetic base, connect it to a CB radio station and calibrate it to use it at maximum performance.
