Kit PNI Safe House 400 gas sensor and solenoid valve 3/4 inch, sound and light alarm, 85dB, detects natural gas, methane gas (CH4)
Modern gas sensorThe gas detector in the PNI Safe House 400 kit is used to detect natural gas (methane), LPG gas (main components: propane, butane) and coal gas . When the combustible gas leakage exceeds the standard (10%LEL), the gas detector will emit a continuous 85dB audible alarm accompanied by the red LED flashing. The embedded semiconductor sensor has a long lifespan (up to 5 years), versatility and high tolerance to extreme ambient conditions and corrosive environments. Note: The sensor cannot detect toxic gases, such as carbon monoxide (CO).
Safety and energy savingThe plug-and-play connection method makes the PNI Safe House 400 kit extremely easy and practical to install. The fireproof ABS plastic is anti-mold, anti-pest, anti-corrosive and is easy to clean. With a minimum power consumption of less than 3W and a low price, the PNI Safe House 400 kit helps you ensure the safety of your home. The kit can be widely used in restaurants, kitchens, hospitals, hotels, oil factories, garages, gas stations and so on.
Test methodWhile holding down the lighter button, bring the lighter close to the gas inlet of the detector and slowly release gas (do not light the lighter, just let the gas come out). When the gas concentration around the sensor reaches the standard, it will trigger the alarm which will sound until the gas volume in the environment drops below the alarm point. Note: The sensor warm-up time is approximately 2-3 minutes. During this period, the gas test will not work . At the end of the warm-up (priming) period, the detector will emit a confirmation sound. After this time, the detector enters the normal operating state.
InstallationNatural gas is made up of methane gas , which is lighter than air. In the event of a leak, natural gas will rise to the ceiling and collect in the areas surrounding the ceiling. Therefore, for natural gas, the detector will be installed 30 cm below the ceiling and 1.5 m away from the gas source. LPG gas consists of a mixture of propane and butane , which is heavier than air. If LPG leaks, it will sink to the ground. Therefore, for LPG, the detector should be installed 30 cm above the floor and 1.5 m away from the gas source. Note: Do not install the gas detector in a place with a lot of water vapor, as this may affect the sensor which may trigger false alarms. |
